Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry participated to the fairs “IDEF 2005 7th International Defence Industry Fair” and “3rd Çukurova Trade and Industry Fair” last month.

IDEF 2005 7th International Defence Industry Fair organized in Ankara, between the dates of 27-30 September. Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Evren Özbayraktar, represented the chamber at this fair.

427 firms from 50 country joined the IDEF 2005 7th International Defence Industry Fair and exhibited their Military Equipments.

Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry participated to this fair and exhibited the samples of military equipments of our producers.

During the fair, chamber initiated a work with the “DEMO Project Firm” on the preparation of a project for the export of military equipments especially to the Turkish Republics. Also it was agreed to organize a meeting with the invitation of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry with this agenda .

Also, BABİL INT. LLC. from Sultanate of Oman, was informed about our flag and signal flag producers.

3rd Çukurova Trade and Industry Fair organized in Adana between the dates of 26 September to 2 October.

305 firms and 43 formal associations joined the fair. Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry was one of the 43 formal associations and represented by the Press Advisor of the chamber, Mr. Hüseyin Ezgin. Sample products of our food producers were exhibited during the fair and businessman were informed about Turkish Cypriot Food Industry.
