“Bi-Communal Business Meetings” aiming to develop the sustainable commercial relation between the Turkish and Greek Cypriot communities was held at the Chateau Status Restaurant opposite the Ledra palace
Hotel, between 3rd and 17th of April.
The Cyprus Producers Network Project that is financed by the United nations Development Programme And Action for Trust (UNDP-ACT) and executed by Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry and Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce, aims to develop sustainable relations between two communities.
Aim of these meetings was to gather the firms operating in the same sector in either sides of the Green Line and to create opportunity for them to communicate. During the bi-communal business meetings held between 3rd and 17th April in 5 different days where 5 different sectors got together business people had the chance to discuss their business opportunities.
Meeting that started at 10:00, continued during lunch and ended at 2 pm. Topic sectors of the meetings are:
“Food and Beverage Sector, Furniture Sector, Construction Materials Sector, Paper, Plastic and Chemical Substances Sector and Informatics Sector”.
