Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry
(CTCI) and Cyprus Turkish Chamber
of Com-merce (CTCC) signed a cooperation
protocol on 2nd December, at CTCC.
The proto col consists of cooperation
among chambers on different tasks
and they will special-ize on Chambers
Union.
They decided to fight together against
isolations, Direct Trade of EU and
Financial Aid Regulations in the Protocol.
During the signing ceremony of the
Protocol, Erdil Nami, President of
CTCC, made the first speech. He said
CTCI is both their peer organisation
and it is a primary, ex-ceptional
organisation. He also mentioned that
new industrialists should be sup-ported
as a mission of the protocol. He added
that this Protocol should be an exam-ple
to other institutions.
Nami said their Chamber is an institute
for professions rather than a political
organi-sation. He said they were going
to Brussels on Monday and they would
ask about the financial support (250
million EURO) and would have contacts
about it. He continued by saying that
they were preparing the format of
their cooperation with CTCI.
Salih Tunar, President of CTCI made
the next speech. He said they decided
to work with the new board of CTCC.
As CTCI and CTCC are two representatives
of private sector, they would defend
the rights of private sector as well
as being a guide to the others. He
wished good luck.
Both Presidents said they will organise
a press conference to give information
about their new innovation. This will
be made after the legal procedures
completed.
