37 producer firms, which are members of our Chamber, are participating in the International Izmir Fair, which is the first and greatest international fair organisation of Turkey.
Being one of the few comprehensive trade fairs, the “International Izmir fair” is opening at Atatürk Cultural Park’s fair field in Izmir between August 31, and September 9.
With 46 corporations and organisations, the Northern Cyprus will be attending to the fair for the 32nd time with the organisation of the TRNC Ministry of Economy and Tourism this year. 37 firms, which are producing locally, will realise a promotion by exhibiting their products in the fair. In addition, presentation and student registries of five universities of north Cyprus will be realised.
Department of Tourism Promotion and Marketing, Department of Culture, Chamber of Industry, Cooperative of Handicrafts and the Institute of Folk Arts will also participate in the fair. Alongside the local original music performances, folk dances also will be performed at the TRNC stand this year. Also at the Art Gallery, which is within the fair field, 14 oil-painted works of Cypriot painters will be exhibited.
Alongside university promotions, products as; food, cleaning materials, chemical products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cigarettes, cement, bags & suitcases, plastic doors, ready-made beds, aluminium door and window parts, paints and their chemicals, electric cables, building stones unique to Cyprus, parquet and block varieties, garden fences, Teflon pots and pans, toilet papers, towels and napkins, car filters, water and electricity pipes, citrus, diary products and  Baphos gum will be exhibited and promoted at the TRNC stand which will be set up on a 948 square meters of closed space.
