Dear Visitors, I am very pleased to present you our products manufactured within the constraints of the Green Line Regulations at the 30th International Cyprus Fair which we have participated with 55 companies. The production sector which consists of small and medium-sized enterprises in north Cyprus provides employment to 15,000 people and contributes to the Gross National Product (GNP) by %12. Our country is going through a new period. The two communities sharing the same island have lived separately from each other for so many years that they did not get the opportunity to get to know each other In this new era, I believe that we have undertaken a mission to bring two communities closer to each other, to help them to understand each other and to find out more about the products and services that they produce. I think we have managed to open a gateway for some hopes towards this mission. We are very conscious of the attention by the world and we have to work together in order to realize our mission which is to be unified with the whole world through the harmonization policies for European Union. Our producers and manufacturers possess the knowledge and skills to grab the economic prosperity provided that they have equal competition opportunities and economic structure, have equal investment settings and opportunities to market their products. I would like to thank the companies which participated this fair with many sacrifices and commitments, and to those who assisted us in setting up our stands. I hope the 30th International Cyprus Fair along with the participation of Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry contributes significantly to the peace in the process towards a settlement and solution.
