Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry was established on 19 March 1977, after 19 years representation within the Chamber of Commerce (Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry) which was established in 1958.
When it was established chamber has 40 member, but now this number is 400.
The aims of the chamber are:
- To help the establishement of a modern Turkish Cypriot Industry
- To planning the development of Turkish Cypriot Industry
- To protect the rights of its members
- To act according to the interest of its members
- To make pressure in the decision making process of a government
- To make economic, social and industrial research and to publish the results
- To organize fairs
- To participate fairs both in Cyprus and abroad
- To publish periodical
